Viking Route Copenhagen

The main focus of interest in Copenhagen is Tivoli, one of the oldest parks that exist on earth. There are other sites that perplex visitors, like the statue of the Little Mermaid Den lille havfrue, neighborhood or Copenhagen hippie Free City of Christiania, the Bakken amusement park, the Amalienborg Palace, the zoo, the church of our savior and the square of Kongens Nytory king, with an ice rink for skating in the winter months.

Viking Route Copenhagen

The Vikings left a deep imprint in the history of Copenhagen, they were warriors in the beginning, they organized to fight hunger, which once covered by drift hungry hoard attacks boots. In the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde you can see part of the Viking history and in the National Museum of Copenhagen.

A few minutes away from Copenhagen, one can see five Viking ships that have been restored. An even more ambitious project in terms of historical reconstruction, developed in the north of Malmo, which recreates a Viking settlement, complete with a dock landing ship for a Viking church and typical homes. All set in the history of the Nordic countries.
