celebrate christmas

There is a popular proverb which says: “Every family is a world.” And simple it is, we can not deny that it is also very true.

Now, imagine this: If each family is a world, each country has an entire galaxy. Or something like that … In the end I’m trying to say is that if every family living things differently, so does each country and to a much greater extent. And enough to see the different ways that people celebrate New Year’s Eve in the world to understand.

Today we will see three cases: Germany, Austria and Denmark

GERMANY
The Germans fired the year offering in honor of San Silvestre and receive the new year with firecrackers and fireworks that are intended to drive away evil spirits. According to tradition, is usually left on his plate until after midnight, some remains of what has been eaten. Apparently this simple action, assures future well-stocked pantry for the next year.

AUSTRIA

The Austrians fired the year with fireworks, drinking champagne, throwing streamers and passing out kisses. As you can see are very effusive. But ultimately, they often do in the new year as well as most humans. If something makes them different, especially the Viennese Waltz is the typical New Year’s concert of Strauss and the Vienna Philharmonic offered each January 1st time.

DENMARK
In Denmark the thing is this: we must break the dishes. Because at least on New Year break the dishes is not frowned upon. The Danes tend to use that time to show loved ones how much you appreciate them. And they do throwing old dishes that have accumulated over the years to their homes. In short, each one expresses love your way. And the Viennese, they know how many friends are in the amount of broken dishes that are outside your home.
