The company is Denmark’s largest provider of skiing holidays in Norway, and every winter involved over 60,000 passengers in the survey.
Generally ski tourists are satisfied with their holidays, but the study clearly shows that today they make more and new requirements. It is especially Snow Quality, weighted much higher than previously.
“The first time you’re skiing, you choose typical destination for three basic criteria: that it is child-friendly, that it is easy to navigate and that you live in reasonable distance near skianlægget,” says CEO Henrik Renneberg
Nature is important
“But gradually weighted more technical things such as, Snow Quality. It is clear that the experienced skiers orient themselves after that there are many areas in Norway with natural snow. It is especially snow quality and preparation that is focused on, but safety on the slopes also plays a big role. ”
The more experienced skiers, the more discerning they will also.
“The rising expectations of demands to the Norwegian ski resorts, which were super-efficient and may compete with each other to offer the Danes the best conditions,” explains Henrik Renneberg.
It is true that the Danish skiers that ski areas are doing well. But, conversely, ensures the Norwegian ski resorts to offer a high loyalty among Danes. And everything suggests that even more skiers turning skis against Norway. Color Line has this year enjoyed a healthy growth in the number of travelers from the Copenhagen area.
