For users, electronic books can be a very interesting topic. Guides can be purchased with one click, from any country, and can carry several in the same device. There are cons, of course. I need to buy a rather expensive device to start with the readings. And battery may run out somewhere inconvenient. And the prices? Can hardly expect a big drop in sales values, especially because producing content for travel guides still more expensive than other items editorials.

Indeed, the growth of these electronic platforms is another opportunity for publishers: it reduces the cost of reaching more readers because of this deal the “app store” of the various devices, such as Amazon Kindle and Apple Store iPhone / iPod Touch / iPhone. But of course there is also a great contrast: if sales begin to focus on a few channels in the future no one says he will not take us higher and higher commissions for sales. Still, it seems an obvious topic for the next two to three years, we should expect faster growth of the digital divisions of publishing houses linked to the publication of guides deviajes.
