Stroget
Stroget say that it is the longest pedestrian Avenue in the world (2 km), and connects two of the most beautiful esplanades: Radhuspladsen (the Town Hall square) and Kongens Nytorv. After the short boat trip we arrived at the Amalienborg Palace just before the changing of the guard. The truth is that we had not planned well, but it’s worth seeing because it’s pretty funny. So if you’re a few days in Copenhagen, booking a place at 12:00 in the morning to watch the maneuvers of the soldiers who are part of the Danish Royal Guard.

What is known as Amalienborg Palace is actually an octagonal structure made up of four palaces that surround a central plaza, the Amalienborg Square.

In the center of the square stands the equestrian statue of Frederick V

The Royal Guard parade actually begins at 11:30. The soldiers leave Rosenborg Castle (Rosenborg Slot) and make the journey through the Latin Quarter area, Østergade, Kongens Nytorv, Sankt Anna Plads .. up to Amalienborg.
