Several times each day during the summer rallies both directly descended from Viking ships from Port Museum in Roskilde’s famous Viking Ship Museum. 12-18 man in each boat has a sail knowledgeable skipper in the stern to guide the participants safely through the 50 minute long trip.

The oldest city in Denmark, has in its historical area an urban landscape that refers to other times. Ribe is the name of the eponymous district and a port that gave life to the culture of the Vikings, with an activity that placed it in the ninth and tenth century as one of the most important commercial and all Scandinavia.
Ribe is situated in southwest Jutland, and is part of the municipality of Esbjerg, southern Denmark. The city fell into decline after losing the functionality of your port a few centuries ago. One of the places marked by the Vikings is Ribe, a very ancient city in Denmark and has many attractions for tourists to enjoy. It is a city with much history and where we are with a cityscape that seems frozen in time, which makes the tourists enjoy a lot with everything they see, always closely related to the culture of the Vikings, because they were important in this Denmark area. The port of Ribe had great importance for trade with Scandinavia, so it’s one of the leaders of the trade.
