skagen

Skagen is a unique place in Europe. It is one of the few places on the continent where two oceans. It is located north of the country in the peninsula of Jutland.

Skagen is washed by the seas Kattegat and Skaggerrak whose waves crash against each other and rise with the help of strong winds, making it a breathtaking landscape. In this area is forbidden to swim, although it is possible to stroll along the beach, depending on the strength of the tide.

Natural Park of Rands Fjord
It is a beautiful natural park. In the Lake of the fjord stop many waders and ducks in their migration, while the marshes and reeds are home to nesting birds such as the warbler and mustachioed. It is an area with a great diversity of species of birds.

At one time this fjord was halfway between Vejle and Fredericia, on the east coast of Jutland, and connected to the sea. But this outlet was now closed by land and freshwater. To reach the park is to go to the southeast from Vajle. About 6 km after Borkop, the road touches the eastern boundary of the park, just before reaching the town of Egeskov. Most of the area can be seen from the back roads that run along the northern boundary of the park, Overhol, Nebbergard and Osterskov.

greenland autonomy

The autonomy referendum extending Greenland is already a fact, and therefore recognizes the right to self-determination of the territory of Denmark, with a total of 75.54% of the votes after the counting of votes.

The advisory referendum must be ratified by the parliaments of Nuuk and Copenhagen but already there is a settlement in which the political forces agreed to respect the result.

The new regulations will take effect from and after June 2009 to coincide with the completion of the 30 years of autonomy Greenland. In addition, as would be two areas that are recognized as autonomous by the Danish kingdom, the first of the Faroe Islands in 2005.

rosenborg castle

Rosenborg Castle was built in 1606, within the King’s Park in Copenhagen, under the specific request of Christian IV. This building, crowned by towers and needles, surrounded by a moat and a large park, was the residence of the royal family during the seventeenth century.

The brick building, typical of the Renaissance style Dutchman, has survived the bombing and fires that have occurred since then.

The building is well furnished but casual. The rooms are arranged chronologically. Those belonging to the period running from Christian IV to Frederik IV have been carefully preserved.

a danish legend

Denmark is a country filled, like many others in fact, old legends of heroes and soldiers. This time we’ll talk about how to gesture a very unique coat of arms, represented by a glass half full.

It turns out that one of the many invasions of Denmark, the fight turned bloody. Hundreds of bodies lay on the ground dying, some at little to exhale their last breath, some seriously injured, others ignorant of what the future had saved them.

Fyn field is formed by large stately homes and rustic cottages with thatched roofs. The sea is shallow, which offers a follow for children. Most wear the blue flag beaches of the EU. The other major cities of Fyn, Odense besides, are Middelfart, Faborg, Assens, Munkebo, Nyborg and Sonderborg.
