Seals and porpoises are known mammals in the Danish waters, where the elegant swimmers tumble in search of food. On land, the seals mainly to shore passes and islets, which are rarely people and disrupting. Some places are even talking about seal colonies.
Which seals can be seen where?
The common seal is the most common species of seal in Denmark. You can see it in the Wadden Sea on the west coast of the Skagerrak, Limfjord and Kattegat, the Sound and the Baltic. The last time they spoke seals was in 2005, and since there were 12,000 harbor seals throughout Denmark.
