Denmark is a country filled, like many others in fact, old legends of heroes and soldiers. This time we’ll talk about how to gesture a very unique coat of arms, represented by a glass half full.
It turns out that one of the many invasions of Denmark, the fight turned bloody. Hundreds of bodies lay on the ground dying, some at little to exhale their last breath, some seriously injured, others ignorant of what the future had saved them.
The Danes won this fight in particular, and is one of the Danish soldiers lying in the ground, exhausted. She got up and pulled a small bottle of beer. Near him lay an enemy, wounded but conscious and very whiny. The Danish approach and began to tilt to give the bottle when the enemy drew his pistol and fired, but missed the shot.
Without much else to say, the Danish drank about half of the bottle and tossed it to his enemy, “a fool will stay with only half.” That was all he said.
The king, on hearing this peculiar history, and because of the cavalier attitude of the soldier, was awarded the rank of knights and a shield to pass to their offspring, this shield was represented by a half-empty bottle which alluded to the event that had happened.
